Aftermarket Services
The Clyde Aftermarket Services (CAS) Team supplies a range of quality services designed to improve the performance of customer's processes. E-mail aftermarket@clydematerials.co.uk to learn how the CAS Team can support your requirements.
Performance Optimisation
When a process requires new systems or layouts, Clyde can provide a consultation service to help plan the most effective way of implementing the changes to minimise disruption.
System Servicing
Clyde can provide on-site equipment servicing to coinside with planned plant maintenance shutdowns, ensuring minimal downtime. Talk to us about service contracts, free inspections or emergency maintenance. Our aim is to provide the service that our customers require.
Personnel Training
All Clyde systems come with a full training programme designed to instruct the customer's own personnel to operate, overhaul and maintain the equipment supplied. These training sessions are normally held on site, and can be adapted to suit client requirements.
Spare Parts Management / Consignment
Backed by our full time dedicated Spare Parts Departement you can gain advice and order spares over the phone, on-line, e-mail or fax with credit card payment facilities available to make the whole process smoother and quicker.
Consignment stocking ensures parts and comsumable items required for a particular installation are always available ex-stock, minimising the potential for downtime. Only the items called off are charged for and stocks are then immediately replenished, simplifying inventory control procedures. Clyde Aftermarket Services staff can undertake regular visits to the customer's site to inspect and manage local parts stocks.

High Temperature Camera
Using a specialist high temperature camera and specially trained operator, Clyde undertakes the inspection of high temperature process environments up to 1100 degrees C. This service has already been extensively used by Corus (formerly British Steel) to inspect gas cannons on coke ovens, blast furnaces and bustle mains. Other applications include ducts, flues, boilers, kilns, and incinerators.
